To get any real gain from this besides the flow to the injector, you will need to buy a set of modified injectors, so stock part #s arent going to get you very far.

I agree with ragged edge, do some research on your own, call some diesel shops and see what they tell you. If your really serious about going with that set up you will eventually need help from a shop, so just go ahead and get in touch with them now.

Farm boy from the midwest , spread alot of pig crap with a 5055 tractor. Along with hoeing alot corn in 55 series combines .

So just saying 55 series JD is a broad statement.

What is a 5055? Are you talking about one of those new utility toys? and a 55 series combine, you mean a squareback?

55 series Deere generally means 466ci equipped tractors, like 4255,4455,4555,4755,4955

...it should be a KDEL65S1-13...that is what is on some Ive got here

Very well put, the body is needed simply to get from point A to point B. The importance lies in the head machining, return system and the injector modifications. There is alot more to it than just screwing them in and hitting the key. Just the tooling required for a portion of this modification costs more than some guys pay for entire sets of injectors.

Whining, you should be so used to that, Your P-pumping a Duramax and using JD injectors for gods sake.

Do you throw them a bone and tell them your using dual CP3's as lift pumps?

Not worried about the machine aspect as I'm a well equipt shop.

Thanks for the part number.

two of them....need some serious supply pressure...:Cheer: We are the evil twins I guess....in the duramax world

So whats a ballpark price to have the head machined, and a decent flowing JD injector installed?

If you follow that link earlier in this thread you can gather an idea what your stepping into. That would probably be the upper end of the spectrum.

Hey chris what are the chances of getting a head done set up for JD injectors. Then setting them to run with a VP?? or is that on the stupid end. Wonder if the JD injectors would work good with a monster or dragon fire vp???
