More air with S465

I would put the plate where the spill port is still at the bottom of the upper helix and go from there.

I have NO CLUE what that means, I am stil learning.

the plate is set where CDS flowed the pump when they built it for Brandon. they scribed a line and I assume thats where they wanted the plate to be set when they built the pump, thats why I set it there.

What he said:what:

I think he is saying to start with the plate all the way back and tweek it from there

Left the plate where it was and put some 191's in, I only wanted to change one thing at a time, maybe this week if I have time I will put my street tires on and do some plate tweaking.

Anyway I pulled saturday and it still has some good smoke, but its not nearly as thick and has more velocity when exiting the stack, not to mention the truck sounded better IMO, just sounded like it was not choking out. Still gonna play with it some this year, and seriously considering a new charger later this year.

a new turbo and a fire suit ...:hehe:

interstate, i went to have a test hook this weekend and ran the hot diesel class to see where i stood against the trucks that were there.

when i made the pull off someone went and cried to the tech that i didnt have a fire suit and they wouldn't let me in the pull off. ill get one for next time now that i know, i just never heard of needing a fire suit for trucks of this caliber, i don't think the tech that talked to me even knew til someone told him.

dam Tj, i wish i was in your boat. I cant seem to get enough fuel.:bang I upped my supply pressure this week to 60 pounds, and that seemed to help.

At cecilton I was only running around 31, and one more washer takes it to 60psi. whats your average rpms going down the track?

at tuckahoe it turned 4k, and cecilton it was pulled down to 3500. not sure what it pulled this weekend on a clay track, i never even looked.

down in virginia, i went down to get a test hook and i was happy with the way it ran.

Are you going to stick with the 191's or go back to cuts? Whats your pump flow if you don't mind me asking?

Kurt

Hey TJ, when your ready for that 2.8 charger, let me know. I have an HT60 thats a 2.9 right now stock, but with a little work and a new cover/bushing it would be a great 2.8 OR 3.0 charger... I'd hook you up on it.
