More RPM'S??

Is there any other way other than the red line box to get more RPM's out of the 24 valves? Preferably more streetable than the red line box. Thanks.
 
how much "more"...? TST comp is known to fuel to 3600rpm if that's enough. Some have said there Adrenaline have fueled to 3800rpm. That's about it, you will also need supporting mods to run higher rpm's.
 
I'd definitely say springs. Now that my TV cable is adjusted right, above 3200rpm the motor starts sounding rough. I'd imagine that that's valve float I'm hearing.
 
I used to think my smarty/TST fueled hard to 3500-3600...then I got a redline...no comparison. The redline doesnt just rev to 4k...it PULLS to 4k. My TST stack use to drop power at 3300.

I'm pretty sure someone said their Adrenaline pulled to 4000 rpm. I know quad said it will free rev to 4150 or so on their shop truck with "stock" drivetrain.

there is a big difference between pulling to 4k and revving out to 4k

you can see my dyno sheet above. my truck would rev out to 3800 with the smarty/TST but it only truly pulled until about 3200 then it was just blah, not a whole lot going on. now at 3200, thats usually where the tires let go depending on what gear i am in :evil
 
I know we need valvew springs and what not to hold up to 4k pulls, but i am looking for something that will pull hard to 4k not jst rev to it. We have the smarty/tst stack right now and like getblown said it revs to that but at like 3300 3400 there is nothing left in her. So if anyone has heard or know of anything that will pull to 4k let me know. Thanks.
 
hey haloman, ill bring my old 16.5's you can burn off. might just need some air for them. im bringing all 4 but one has a crack n the rim and i dont use them anymore.

Redline...it PULLS all the way to 4k, i've tried it...its sweet
 
i'm dynoing it next saturday down at brett's on the same dyno the last runs were done.

I prolly should have held off on the redline cuz the smarty is supposed to have a new program sometime before 2027...:umno: :hehe::hehe:LOLLOL
 
we'll make a print out of your best TST/Smarty stack to lay over your Redline numbers to see to bottom line difference in how far it actually fuels.

:kick:LOL That was the "New ERA" software. I heard the "REVOlution" software is due around 2040.LOL
