Figured id start a thread about my current project and get some advice and help along the way and go from there. I ended up parking my Crewcab to do this truck due to the guy i paid to do the body work on the truck did a Horrible job and the roof leaks bad. So im going to finish this truck then work on the crew cab again.

77 Dodge PowerWagon
98 53 block 12 valve 368K and counting. Currently has compounds but going with triples.
47rh Goerend convertor, Trans built by me
NP205 29 spline transfrecase
Dana 60 front and Dana 80 Rear.

Heres the first day i picked it up

Got it Stripped down and Pressure washed ready to sand blast.

Got some rust to fix on the floors and cab.

Set the motor, trans and transfer case set in it to moch up.

Set the body back on to get an idea of how it sits with half ton springs.

Turns out a 2nd gen intercooler will not fit at all. So im sticking with my Mishimoto intercooler for now.

Ill Keep you guys updated as i go.

This is the first time since i made this post i have touched the truck. I Now have the funds to get it back going and moving around. Well my plans have changed severely but its all in the eye of the beholder. But I got around to narrowing my Dana 80 to stock 1st gen width.

Took out 3 1/2" on each side. Hopefully my Jig will be done Monday to get it all welded up. Get that Done then ill get the rear 4 link done then get the front 4 link done. Ill keep updating as it goes.

sweet build scat,what are you running for a fuel tank? a drag cell?

Thanks. I was going to run a fuel cell but Im trying to go as sleeper and ratty looking on the outside. Im using my stock tank where i will add dual draw straws on it.

Got my head back today from being ported. Big Increase in mid lift and top end lift. Hoping my flex plate and trans parts show up this week so i can possible get everything set in the frame and make some actual progress.

Latest ebay score for the truck. 2 A1000's, 2 -10 Prefilters and a Pump controler for a whole 400 bucks shipped.

my 53 block in my 2001 hasnt had any problems(knock on wood) and its got 210k on it.
 
Love the 70s body with the cummins! I had a 1977 M880 with a Cummins and loved every minute of it!
