Question?????....
When I chatted with Soruce a while back about twins for a Second generation truck and discussed turbo options and exhaust housings they told me their setups were not designed to run the SS exhaust housings. The SS housings are a bit longer which caused fit issues when installed into the truck.

Have you had to make any modifications to the hotpipe because of the SS exhausings length to ensure a proper fit in the setup and to make sure it all fits in the truck??..... Andy

the bolt holes on the s400 mount need to be reamed out a little to get the hotpipe closer to the SS housing on the s300...it was almost a perfect fit before modification to the mount

The fab work looks good... The cold pipe from Source, did it fit well did you have to cut off anywhere??? Also the exhaust housing on that s300 doesnt looks stainless to me?? Mine is shiny..

when they aren't polished, that's what they look like with some heat in them... they look pretty similar to cast, and then they get that gold color vs. a brown color like iron does

Source claims you need to make the holes 2mm towards the back so the hot pipe will reach.

I had to do a lot more than 2mm, so much I couldn't use the small hole that goes in the block. I pretty much made new bolt holes for it to line up correctly.

Ur talking about the hot pipe^^^^aren't you? We fabbed our own cold pipe. We probably ended up talking a 1/4" off the back of the bolt holes of the s400 bracket to make it fit nice.

We aren't finishing the downpipe and the intercooler pipe until it gets test fitted into the truck. We had my cold pipe/ air intake pipes off of my truck for a template.

Your Going to love twins! Lookin Sweet! It'll completely change the way the truck drives. Specially those size turbo's, Spool up will rock!

Kyle, never mind about the clamp I was referring too. I see it in the pictures. Do yourself a favor on those turbine housing bolts, put a little anti-seize on them so that doesn't happen again.

id say that's probably a good idea!

thanks. pretty excited to get it dialed in. i also installed a cam so im hoping for excellent spool up

My turbos are a little larger and They are on a 3rd gen but spool up is a lot faster than a 66/74/14 and top end power is great. Its cool to watch the pyro actually move backwards as your accelerating. You'll be very happy once there dialed in!
