no. 30 packs are only 18 bucks Mr. Ratts that usually lasts me an evening of pulling haha

Your getting ripped off you can get a dirty 30 pack of keystone light in Paoli right now for about 12 bucks cold:rockwoot:

Im an opportunistic drinker. Northside Liquor Store is a hell of alot closer than Paoli

find out an idea on payout. $100 to win is gettin real old!

I don't think it was even $100 last year to win, I'm thinking $50 or less. Some of these local pulls are gonna have spend a little more money to get the trucks there. Go figure, we paid $500 to will last year, advertised like crazy, and only ended up with 9 trucks at Martin County last year.

Are you guys going to have the Martin County Pull this year? I think my brother got like 100-150 dollars to win tampico last year and I might have gotten 30 dollars for 3rd...Its pretty sad for a 40+ truck class....

martin county's track isnt worth a ****. i will stay away from there. they need more clay mixed in.

Martin County Pull= Dust Bowl 2008

Would have to agree with you by far, Not sure what was going through the track prep guys heads.

Mason,

As for the pull, we are not having a diesel truck class this year. Fair board decided to keep us on Sunday instead of Sat. as was requested so we just told them were not interested. Pretty sad, if you would of ask anyone in the crowd that day what the best class was, well you know the answer.

I hate to break you the news but that track was a dirt circle track (vence the oval shape) before they decided to put trucks and tractors on it. They had tri-axle loads of clay trucked up from somewhere way down south in the states to cover the track. Probably should check your setup, you had alot of tire for no more hp than you were putting out then. Just my thoughts.

Well I hate that you guys ain't having it...Especially you guys paying that good. I'm still undecided if I'm pulling at a lot of places for this 100 dollars to win...If fuel stays cheap I'll go to Kentucky and at least have a better shot at some money. I hate to not pull at tampico I love that place because its local for us but its kind of getting old....I know your not going to get rich pulling but I think we are going to have to draw the line somewhere..My brother has gotten out of pulling because of all the money it takes and I believe this will be my last year as well...

i think i make a pulling truck to go have fun i never think of it as a winning for money thing.... i go and learn alot and talk to people and have fun doin' it....if your in it for the money your in the wrong sport....you have to love everything bout it to even build a truck.... the money is j/ a bonus...

I think you completely missed Mason's point all together. Whenever you have to shell out the kind of money it takes to actually compete with the big dogs of the sport, you really have to take in consideration whether or not you should risk breaking expensive parts at a $100 brush pull. I know what Jon went thru last year and he finally decided it wasn't worth it for alot of the pulls.
