once you pass the 2.8-3.0 range i see no advantage to them. every big motor other than atley's that i have seen is 12v. there are half the moving parts and at that point, they are cutting the intakes off and are taking everything out that they can. i have had a few guys tell me that a stock 24v head is more desirable than a stock 12v head. but once you are getting in the 1000hp range the 12v head seems more dependable. they do seem to crack between the valves, but any of them will do that. at that point i think the spray pattern of the 24v heads is more useful than the flow. but thats just my opinion.
