Pics of Welded Dana 80?

If your talking about the front being welded...as long as the CAD is unlocked no...

I kind of guessed it would pull to the left a little bit being that the left tire was dragging the carrier and driveshaft. That's good news that it doesn't, cheap way to power to both tires.

You will realize soon that you either have a pulling truck or you have a street driven truck. the days of having both are over. it took me a while to realize that im either goin to play or stop. So i chose play. Stop tryin to drive these trucks. Build the things and use em for what the intended build purpose is. NO MORE DUAL PURPOSE TRUCKS!

If you want to be competitive you cant have both. And thats a fact, at least here in Indiana. No little emoticon is going to prove that wrong.

Its def alot different here on the east coast. I still drive mine and im competitive in the class I pull in. I'm not running in a 2.8 super street class or bigger tho.

I am going to quit driving mine because I am too lazy to swap tires...and I need to stop tearing up my STS's on the street.

Yea.. i guess i kinda forgot about work stock and 2.6 classes. Most of those trucks can be driven on the road. I pull in 2.8 and it was stupid when i tried to drive the truck too. between unloading tools and hangin weight and then breakin etc.. it was too much of a pain. But now that ive given up the driving idea you can really do alot more to the truck where you were held back by trying to keep it on the street.

I agree with you Prewitt, around here 2.8 3.0 trucks to be competitve have to be track only trucks!!! Its getting to be that way in the 2.6 class too... If I come up with the $$ Im going 5.13 gears which means to more road!!!
