i had several setups..
base was a 96 12v, rips twins, 35/14 over a run of the mill 400, and dragonfly injectors... 150 horse stix or 5x.014s
Street and light towing setup 450 rwhp, tq unmeasured, estimated at 1000 roughly
887, 16.5 degrees, 4K springs free revin to 3800 rpms, Piers kit, 100 plate 2/3 forward, 191 DVs, AFC at full forward, starwheel at just snug
Heavy towing setup, 429 rwhp
887, 16.5 degrees, 4K springs free revin to 3800 rpms, Piers kit, 100 plate full forward, 181 DVs, AFC at 3/4, starwheel at a bit more loose, about 5 clicks from full loose
my best was.. 514/1096 with this setup..
887, 16.5 degrees, 4K springs free revin to 3800 rpms, Piers kit, 100 plate full forward, Full cut SCHEID DVs, AFC at full forward, starwheel competley loose
Overall i ran my street setup for best mileage and towing abilities.. 191s had a definite SOP feel over 181s but ran about 100-200 degrees hotter, and only gained me 21 horses with my setup..
My full boogie setup was just too smokey, not towable, and in all honesty, not much fun on the street, even with quick lighting chargers, it was just too much fuel, more timing, and better tuning probably would have gotten me 600 plus on fuel, but i had no time to tune it, couldnt afford a professional tuner at the time.. and well, life changed.. hence why the 12V is gone, and two CR's in the household now...
overall my street setup was the most fun, and did best mileage wise too.. 16 city and 22-23 highway...
yes i still miss my 12V..
