PRI Convention drag race/dyno Orlando Fla. December 10th

Glad suncoast and many others will be racing. this is a fun racing event for anyone that wants to show up. again i cant stress the importance of any diesel event. what we do is relevant to the sport we all love. and the more we do it the bigger it will get. diesel specialists and nadm. as well as all the other sponsors are spending alot of money and time putting on this event. so please show your support by joining or buying products from these people.

Damn, I need to rent a truck. I haven't had the chance to run Michael in a long time.

I guess i'll have to run both trucks I want to race the legend!

crap...I guess I can live with second place.
I think the guy posting below is the one you need to worry about!

Rut Roh! I think I am something like 0 for 2 against Rob!

I assume you must be talking about the other guys above! I just go out and abuse rental and borrowed vehicles ;)

Where at? Do they have an extra? I have one lined up to borrow, but a backup plan never hurts ;)

Enterprise Truck rental. Diesel pickup. They said they have one reserved for me, but the confirmation email doesn't say diesel, so I'll have to confirm.

Yup, that's what I used to rent. Unfortunately their national purchasing group apparently changed from diesels early this year, so many locations are phasing them out. You will usually get an F250 4x4, they work well as long as they don't go into regen (and maybe you can get a programmer to turn off regen).

sorry to hear that. we were exciteted to see you run at this track. did something break or you just refreshing it.

I checked the weather for Friday night. Its going to be cold...(Im a little bitc* and dont like the cold.)

LOL, it was colder in Orlando last night than in Oregon, that doesn't happen too often! Still, it isn't THAT cold down there!

Does anyone know if the track has any silly rules like requiring helmets for ALL vehicles regardless of ET?

Thanks,
Michael Pliska

We've got that one at my local track in Gulfport. Supposedly they get some kind of insurance break for it or something.

.

I checked the track's website, it didn't list anything like that, hopefully we are good! I wasn't worried about space in my luggage for helmet until I saw the forecast and realized I might need some jeans to keep warm!
