Project DeRanged truck progress

Alright, today, I hooked up the fuel lines from the tank to the fuel rails. We have fuel. Also got the brakes lined out, and tomorrow we will have front and rear brakes. The water injection system is in up to the intake, and the electrical is working again. Waiting on a single wiring harness, and then off to Trusted to finish off the turbo oil lines, and its ready to fire. I have to get Eric at Innovative the strategy, and he is gonna send the tuning for it. Fans should be here tomorrow for cooling, and I am getting the filler neck worked out through Joe Hellman. Only thing left to buy is a drive shaft, and that takes two days for them to make. The TS nitrous kit should be here any day, and then its hooking up the wiring to the fans, nitrous, water and then we make smoke.

Pics tomorrow. I took a bunch today, but My iphone took a dive and I had to switch it with a new one today, so no pics for you!

I am, I want it done, and I want to scare the ginger off of you. LOL

Something tells me that could be a little tougher than you might expect:hehe:

That's one of the funniest things I've seen in a while:hehe:

Looking good though Tim...did a ride in a certain S10 light a proverbial fire under something??
Chris

Sure didn't hurt. Brandon never got on it, but it was still a lot of fun.

I know just watching that thing makes me want to get mine finished, but I have a lot to work to do yet!

Can't wait to see the Ranger and the S10 line up:D
Chris

The Epic Battle of the S-10 Vs. DeRanged will be awesome...especially when Brandon gets his to hook and Tim gets his to actually move on it's own power.

My best advice would be get the wiring done first, then oiling, then fuel, fire it, clean up the oil leaks, clean up the fuel leaks and finally get the cooling system happy. That would have saved me closer to $500 in overnight shipping for leaking fuel system parts that I replaced at the last minute. Just FYI. ;)

Lets get it on!!

With how Tim's setup is, he can check for fuel leaks now. As long as he can send power to the pump, he can pressurize the system. No need to wait until the engine can be started. The only return is at the fuel pump and it starts working as soon as the pump turns on. The rest of the system is a dead head.

If you're under 4500 you can play...over and you gotta play with those Pro Street boys.

To be honest, I should be about as fast as the Pro Street boys (for a while anyway:D), but I plan to be under 4500.

I was planing on running Super Street anyway...I'll just be a little slow

That will help big time! I had a return line that got crushed that didn't leak unless the engine was running. I'm waiting to hear it started!

There are no leaks. LOL

And Sig, I'll line up against ya either way. I like the fun of it. Like John Robinson said, "hell, I came to race, lets do it".

OK, big day the past few. Waiting on the UPS man, but we have brakes. I still ahve to clean up and route the lines different, but we can actually stop it now.

Fuel system is done, and does not leak. The fuel cell has diesel in it for the first time ever.
