Project DeRanged truck progress

Looking very good.. I know you would beat me,, but I would love to have a go at you too,, lol,, never know what happens next year

This may have already been covered. I assume you have installed a battery disconnect inline with the positive battery cables? It also needs to break the field wire of the alternator, so that hitting the emergency stop will kill the truck.

After the recent fatal accident in the pits at an NHRA race, many people are considering cable-actuated shutoffs which can be turned off from the driver's seat. I was "lucky" a week ago, and got to see what I would do with a car stuck at full throttle. It happened coming off the burnout. I got on the brakes hard and clicked off the ignition switch, no problems.

Well, I had to go to work last night after working on the truck, but as I was walking out the door, The UPS guy showed up......again, and dropped off this little package from Dennis and Sheila and the gang at TSperformance. Thanks guys, I like the blue bottle. This is their Powerfool nitrous kit.

I think this is GREAT! It's a build (kind'a) like most of us would do, one part at a time. Keep it up Tim it's looking GREAT!

We installed a Bicycle style pedal system in the passenger side. WHoever is over there has to pedal. You want it loud, you better pull out your Lance Armstrong skills.

OK, last of the stuff showed up today, 2-12" fans, New PS resevoir, and the new wiring harness. $300.00 for a driveshaft, and thats the last thing needed to make it go........I think.

Cooling fans are in, fuel pump is wired, brakes are bled, Nitrous is plumbed. Plumbing for the radiator, and figuring out the Freakin FICM and PCM wiring. Were there folks.
