ProStreet F-100

I was planning on waiting to update til the radiator was in, but learning to tig aluminum has been a challenge. I have some new 2% lanthanated tungsten to try now and a hand control to get used to. Has to be easier than laying under the truck while the wife runs the foot control.

Not shown, but 1 1/2" strap is run under the tank to help even the load.

Is your rad going to have enough airflow back there to keep you cool?

How much space do you have between your cab and rad?

This project is awesome. How do you plan to route the radiator hoses?

High pressure JIC crimped -12 lines under the pass side of the cab.

I hope it does. Fan might just be working overtime. I was planning on around 3-4" from the cab.

Looking real good Adam!! Love the build!

X2!!! Great work!!! Hope to see it in person one day.

Most definitely! Love this build! Great job man.!

Slowly, but surely. Let's hope the engine doesn't lock up on the initial start or we'll have another 5 year wait. On a positive note I inquired to a roll pan manufacturer about making a front roll pan about 6 months ago. A couple days ago he contacted me that he made a prototype and wanted me to test fit it and help him into production. Might be good enough looking for a magazine someday.

for struggling with welding aluminum it sure looks good! I still can't get the hang of it myself.

I wasn't happy with the big open hole behind the cab. Felt a little more structure could be added.

Result of overthinking.

Do you have any pictures of completed trucks you're using for inspiration?

Honestly I just sit in my lawn chair and drink beer til I feel creative enough to start cutting pipe.

I know you already have it mounted, but would you consider re-mounting it on a slight angle to allow more air flow? For a drag racer only running 1/4 at a time I doubt it will matter to you much, and maybe there is enough space already, but it would be a bummer to end up wanting to re-do it later if you decide to run it on the street or maybe a car cruise. Awesome build man. I always get excited when I see that you have made an update. :)
