pulling video, have some questions

I was there last year think i was 6th place and it was way to late when we got done that night.

Yeah i think it will be alittle different this year. I bugged out last year and didnt wait for the open class to come around.. They also changed the classes up this year. There is only one diesel class which is the open gas and diesel. The other diesel class is stock only.
 
what gear are you pulling in and what are your gear ratio i think i know the truck does it say cenpeco on the bottom
 
did the timing fix it???

no it didnt. It ran better but still snuffed at 315ft. But i did have alot of fuel going to it to. Im gonna get the vid up here with one from the start of the season to compare it to.
 
Here is the last pull at the flatland jam. 33* timing, 800cc fuel, 5100 rpm on the line and currant E.D. turbo

Here is a comparison video from the start of the season. 23* timing, 650cc fuel, running a s475sx box stock with the 1.10 t4 housing. Im at the very end like 2:58 mark

What are your EGT's? As your cranking the fuel up are you seeing the EGTS drop?
 
In the vid with current setup, what kind of boost?? It doesn't quite sound fully lit to me. I'm watching on phone tho so maybe the sound isn't as crisp & clear and I'm not hearing it right?

What have chris & Glenn said about it?

low 50's Chris sent me a 1.10t6 housing im gonna try on it..
 
id try bumbin the timing more it shouldnt be snuffin in that gear . i just talked to a guy last night who was runnin about the same setup and was runnin second on the high side
 
Sounds like you are putting the fire out with all that fuel. 1400 is way too low imo for that size of turbine and housing. I would somewhere betwwen 16-1800 would probably help at the end of the track. Hope this helps.

he is running 3.55 gears and high second with a s480? my final is 16.07 and high 2nd is 10.79. Id say thats way too fast. What truck is yours? Have we talked before?

i agree the temps are low. i am cutting the fuel back and putting that smaller housing on should help bring them up
