Quadzilla (closing up?) memo

Hills in my experience can be unreliable. LoL

I used to have an idi ford that ate starters like it was its job and I got real good at finding slopes. Took a bit of trial and error to learn the proper angle algorithms,

LOL, my 1st car (1968 AMX) used to eat starters too, but I had a big hill at home and one at school, so it only had to start at work!

Had a freightliner FLA that either had to be parked next to the shop(leaky tank for air starter) or on a hill haha

My take on Quad is they are going under to avoid any fines while this whole EPA storm blows over. While not selling/producing/advertising they may or may not be working out post EPA crackdown solutions for folks. Only people that really know are those at quad, so the rest is all conjecture ...

A scene from one of my favorite movies
Flight of the Phoenix -- starting the engine - YouTube

When I watched it the first time I bugged every body I knew about shotgun starters.

When I was playing with airplanes we bought an ex Air Force Beech 18 that still had the shotgun starter system on it. Many of the warbird guys with radials still use it since it's easier on the electrical system. With a radial, what's one more big bang? LOL
