I will admit when i saw brandon run i would have put a hundred dollar bill down on the table saying it wasnt in the right class.

So now after seeing him run i know it is back to the drawing boards for a lot of people. I have talked to brandon and he seems like a good guy. i just think that a lot of people think that building a dedicated 2.5 is pointless since it is such a under horse powered class. and since that truck is as hot as it is that it should have been in the 2.8. Now if brandon shows up to indy and runs in the workstock and not at least the 2.6 then that is going to open a whole nother bag of worms. So brandon my advise is stop listening to all the b*** S*** and just bite your toung until indy. then see what your truck does out there. and if it kicks butt like this weekend then you can put it back in everyones face. Because there are a lot of dedicated 2.6 pullin trucks out there$.02

Dude, your crying like a little freaking girl. Give it up already.

Let me guess, your new to pulling and fresh out of high school.

You didn't win, get over it.

guys a 2.5 truck got 3rd in 2.8 class so its not a low power class

I have never seen so much bickering. He played by the rules and won the class with a plenty streetable truck.

If you guys dont like it, then you'd be far ahead to go out and wrench on your truck instead of flapping your gums in here, cause this aint gonna get you a win.

:clap::rules:

This is sled pulling, why all the crying?

Apparently, most guys in the 2.5 class haven't stepped it up any from last year, so they think the guys who have already won belong in the 2.8 class.

Here's an idea...2.5 guys, bring your A-game...I know Brandon, Wesley, and John Schriver will be (when John hit's the track anyway:D)

I thought competition, and getting better every time out was another goal...guy we're just supposed to do the same thing over and over again?

the thing i would like to see is 2.5 class that is ur everyday driver. i know that would be hard to govern. i enjoy the time i get to spend playing with my truck not crying. This sport belong to whom can spend the most money and having the most hp doesnt mean u win but it sure helps. So hock and shut up.

As shocked as i was to hear a P pump won the 2.5 class. It seems the people that were behind him in the pull are shocked themselves. Sick of hearing how that class and the 2.6 classes would be dominated by dmax's and such. Nothing like firing people up after the first big pull of the year. Way to go brandon. Maybe you can give away some tricks for my 2.6 truck:rockwoot::rockwoot:

Listen, if the truck (any truck) fits the rules and wins, then obviously that individual took the time and money to put into that truck to make it a top performer.

For those of you that feel that the truck needs to be daily driven, not trailered to the event, must complete a 100 mile road course in order to qualify for the class, then I suggest to you, that you put on your own event with your own rule base, and invite only the truck you know you can beat. That way, you won't have to wine so damned much.

Hey everyone I want to appologize for the way i came across earlier. After a chewing from some of the guys i know and review or some of my entries i realize i sounded completly out of place. That is not what i entneded for. I would appreciate it if nobody will hold any hard feelings for the miscommunication. I dont know what i was thinking but we are all here to help one another out and i sounded out of line. so i hope everyone can look past my stupidity

Way to go Brandon!

Not like you snuck up on them. Your build up has been very public on this forum.

Again Awesome Work!

Good job Brandon. Looks like you've got someone that know's what they are doing when it comes to workin on your truck. That makes a world of difference.

I think I opened this can-o-worms.. I didn't intend to discredit Brandon in any way.. but that's the way the thread ended up going..

Congrats on the win!
