exactly...if he won by 20' then i can see whining about it.

heck if i were any of the guys that are whining, i would be happy that an electronic daily driven truck was able to be within 5' of this big bad 12v with too much power for the class...but thats just me
 
I am not saying it is not some competition. but when you win then you are above all the competition. in the 2.8 he may not have won but it would have been neat to see where it stands up to others
 
Isn't being above the competition kinda what you shoot for? If he had a 2.8 truck, that's where he'd pull.

Your mad because he won...and he did that by beating the guy whose been winning for a while, and he did it on his first hook.

If it was a CR or Duramax you'd still be whining, so what the heck are you wanting to lose to?

Chris it is apperent that you have no idea what i am trying to get across. I built a 2.6 truck. and yes i built it to hopefully win. That is what brandon did and and he did a good job buildin his truck. I just thought it would be sweet to see the truck pull again. That is all i was trying to say.
 
And TJ i am not whining. Because if he would have won by 20 feet it would have been sweet too
 
Then say that...by saying you think he would have "had more competition" in the 2.8 class, that comes across as "I was outclassed by a truck, and he shouldn't be in my class" AKA whining;)

If you built a 2.6 truck, weren't you in the wrong class? TJ's is 2.6, and he was in the 2.8 class!


If after a few posts, no one is understanding what you're saying...maybe it's not us? Looks like TJ was thinking the same thing I was about your comments;)

I wish I could be competitive out there in 2.6...but even that is near impossible with a vp44, very few people have done it. (Darren smith comes to mind)
 
You all need to calm down. All the top five trucks ran great, and looks like the 2.5 class has just became much more competitive than it already was last year. This will keep all of us at the top of our game or get left behind.

Holy crap guys.......all this complaining over 2 freakin inches??? Obviously if he was cheating, the dude that came in 2nd was cheating too. 2" is a HELL of a close pull....about as close as you can get IMHO!

:hehe: I must have missed the post where I said I was the best and all the other trucks are trash cause that is what it is turning out to be ha ha, but it seems to me you kinda gave me the drive to build a good pullin 2.5" truck since I may, just may have drooled over yours alittle last year! Mabey we can get together and do a P-Pumped/CP3 2.5" truck and let the whinning begin ha ha.....

x2 you tell them dale. U can go to walmart and pic up 100 dipers for around $21 That should do you well formula is a little expensive right now though brandon so dont buy to much of that.
