Running the motor lean hurt it?

Not taking into account Drugs, I don't think it is possible to run too lean, only to rich. As soon as you add accelerants, it is possible to turn the injectors into little acetylene torches...
If you run lean, you only decrease the power of the motor...
This would be assuming, you are trying to attain a maximum power output, and not exceed 1,250*F EGT.
If you are at full throttle, and are making 1,250*F EGT and you throw twice as much air to her, but do not increase the fueling, you will obviously run the motor leaner, but, as long as the motor does not experience a physical failure (headgasket/turbo), running the extra air will not damage it.
