UHH the one in town isnt worth the 5$ to get in but OMG the Silverbullet in Illinois is but it cost me 117 $ for a speeding ticket to get there

Cant think of his name but I believe he owns FASS anyways he wanted our loaden ramps and my helmet and rachet straps to strap him down in a golf cart to jump across the road well he didnt find a cart but they jumped a Kabota with out the ramps

Has anyone else heard rumors of trucks getting impounded for running 150mph down 41? Friday when I got there I heard it was 170 and laughed, then I heard it was 150 mph Saturday, and heard the same thing again today?

150 mph...seriously....:bang: What was the real speed?
 
I was there early friday morning and stayed the night in a tent on friday night. My gf came over and stayed too and brought our new puppy. An expensive one at that. He was on a leash but he almost got ran over three different times by idiots on the "atv's" ( all kinds ). As for the idiots in the back lot doing doughnuts in the grass and jumping the ditches and just trashing the place till four in the morning they should of been ticketed and sent packing. Even the gasser trucks were out in the field doing it, so its not just the smokers. We left early saturday because of no sleep and all the idiots that made it not worth being there. And im an engineer for the state of Illinois and heard a ton of crap about the weekend and the idiots here at work yesterday. So yeah Vigo county is going to probably drop the event money or not if all the crap keeps up. The disrespect for people and there belongings is really getting out of hand now a days. Something needs to be done so we can keep having our great diesel events like this and not just watch them go by the wayside do to the bad seeds and idiots out there.

How old are you, and what do you consider a 'kid'? I'm not trying to start anything with this, just wondering. I'm 25, and have never done anything like has been described at events. I do it on private property.

I have seen several late teens people driving like azzes, but I've also seen alot of late 30's/early 40's guys driving the same, if not worse, after getting a few beers in em. It's not right for anyone to be driving like that.

I've never made it to TS, SDX or any other event. And I doubt I will go. Seems I can have more fun, without as much BS, at a local pull, and for a lot less money. Just my $.02

I don't think as myself as a kid other people do though when me and tyrel Role up to a pull with good looking trucks. First thing out of thier mouth is thats mommy and Daddy's money, but what they don't know is me and Tyrel work hard for our money and Tyrel couldn't even be at Scheids because he is working 7 days a week at 23 running a 20million dollar job. Just wanna point out it's not just the kids. It's a mixture of everybody acting like idiots.

I had a Chat with Dan about that Saturday I think there will be a fix for that next year. the NTPA has rules on pit vehicles, and they work very well.

That would be the Sheriff's Dept. They got the parking fees.
 
I hope they do ban alcohol at Scheid and all diesel events for that matter.

Im sure many will disagree with it, but do you really need alcohol to have a blast at these diesel events?

Banning Alcohol at a diesel event is like banning alcohol at a fair it's not gonna happen. On a side note personally I hope this don't happen I like to enjoy a few brews watching pulls or races.

Me either but I think it is something that HAS to happen. WE the diesel community have shown our drinking skills a few to many times this year. Its going to hurt our sport bad if it goes much farther. Or as my good buddy Dennis said he is going to do is have lots of law enforcement on hand with a no tolerance rule in effect. Its gonna take no booze or the law to make a BUNCH of examples for people to get the hint I think. Its a shame it comes to that cause I like have a couple cold ones at the event myself.
