So are your injectors the limiting factor here? hard parts?
Injectors maybe limiting. Marco says he likes very bigger injectors and way less tuning. SW3 and flux 4's for example rather than 90's and SW9.

Did Macro touch on rail pressure ramp vs software level?
do you have the knowledge to do what marco does...im guessing NO,
Never said I did....but then there is thousands of dmax guys out there that don't either and they are allowed to do so. Thanks for putting me in my place though... I now know better.

So, I set out to see how this SW3 vs SW9 pans out with the butt dyno. I have what would be "close" to flux 4's (180-ish). Big difference in spool up and SOTP feel as you move from 3 to 9. these where highway runs, so torque management shouldn't of been an issue.
so I'm not so sure tho. I need to get on the dyno dang it. ;-)
There are many other factors like with your turbo size, #9 maybe your sweet spot. The idea being that your sticks and turbos would not run good on 9 but 3 or 5, so your not maxed out on tuning.
I get the idea, less is more. I suspect #7 may in fact for me be better for power, but there's some surging in that software. #9 feels better on the road.
According to Marco with the exception of a couple people SW7 runs stronger than SW9, on the dyno.
i dyno more in sw9 then sw7...about 25hp...and all the way thru the power curve..
i dont see why it would be to different...you didnt try 9 at all..
My question is....if Marco can sit there and tune the truck....why is it not possible for anyone else to? It's a conspiracy
