SMARTY DEFUELING ON 07''s ISSUE.

I'd like to see a load test done with a DRB on that 03 Conversion truck to see if it has the load issues some of us are having....68-69% max load.

I will scan mine and check the load and see what it does. If mine does it also then maybe we could have have him look into it when he is at LCD. I know Erik@LCD has an early 04 truck and maybe he can check his to. I will try to get mine scanned tomorrow or early next week and post my results when I do. LCD isn't very far from me and if we can gett him to look into the problem I will be more than happy to donate my truck for testing.

fueling

Quite a few of us have some issue where the motor will only load to 69% max then start to cut back to about 35%
Don't know why. It's happened to several conversion trucks and at least one Dodge.
Here's the backstory: 03-04 Hot trucks, boost question? - Competition Diesel.Com - Bringing The BEST Together
All the trucks are Smarty tuned.
If someone could bring that to Marco's attention we'd all be grateful.

I had that on my 04.5 and would full fuel to just 2450 rpms and then cut back. On my truck it was the LP.

sorry to say its still a few weeks off.I will try to put the plans together. I really do apologize for the delay and I will keep this on the top of the list

Thanks

well thanks for checking in and leting us know, I know you are waiting to get it right, so take your time. chyeck back in a few days, should be some good smarty powered videos by next week, big race this weekend.

We spend 8 hours on the dyno tuning my 07, with Marco working with the tuning. First run was 650ish 1500ft pds. He threw a lot of his tricks at the truck and the end of the day we had one bounce to 695, but 672 was the more consistant number.

I don't know anymore if the 07's really have any issue. My truck seems to be power maxed in some respects. We did manage to add some more bottom end and make a smoother curve.

Anyway, it was a blast to watch the tuning process. Marco knows his sh*t that is for sure.

thats cool man...that must have been real fun...any updates on new software...i just recently put down 700 on the dyno, so im happy..new injectors and twins and helix2 going in in a few weeks..:Cheer:

My question is....if Marco can sit there and tune the truck....why is it not possible for anyone else to? It's a conspiracy

So are your injectors the limiting factor here? hard parts?
