SMARTY DEFUELING ON 07''s ISSUE.

looks like we are going to be heading to the bay area. I will know more next week.

Bob, you guys should try the right coast for a change. I'm sure when it's off, Dunbars dyno could be at your disposal :welcome:

Ty, That would be great. David is an awesome guy. Lots of great people all around the country.

Garmons shop is only about 30 to 45 minutes from ATL airport. Can speak for them but, it would be a great place for Marco to do his thing. Especially with the rattle a few of us over here have.

Do you know of any truth to the shift limiter causing 4 low to not engage ? I haven't unloaded the SW to try yet but, from some reason my 4 low won't engage and someone mentioned that.

My truck I hope, is one of the trucks LCD is planning on using, Not my daily driver so that should be a plus.I think we are looking at next week ??

good luck with it if they do use it. I prefer to see a single turbo turbo as the test model though. There's more than them than not

Well, I wish the best for everyone waiting, I will be sure to post results in the event My truck is the choosen one.

Yeah, your truck Donald, Phil's and mine are the test trucks for Marco's magic.\

Two twinned 07's and one single '07 and we are having a '03 Fummins running too.

When is the date?

Not too sure yet, Erik @LCD is setting everything up with Bob and is going to let us know when it goes down.

You might ask Bob if you could still run at our shop that day, since it always helps to have a good data pool to use!

For sure!

Still working on the details with Bob, hope to get it going soon. I will clear the schedule to get some more good data rollin

I won't deny there's an issue with 07's fueling to 4K but, I thought I'd post today dyno run. My truck is a 07 5.9 running a Smarty TNT/R and MP-8. This graph shows it is fueling to 4K and holding 500+ all the way there doing 170+mph

Unfortunately my hp is down due to how hot is was and I believe a bad injector.

I am not after 4,000. I want to build and peaking at 3,300-3500 then tappering off. Your done gaining HP at about 2800-2900 and flat to 3,100 and then falling off. There should be more than that, but we will see.

I'm not after it either. There's no use for it. All our trucks are going to make peak power in their power band which is from 2500 to 3250. If you're a puller and can have the motor hold together running 4K all the time, then maybe there's a benefit.

It's falling off just as it should. There's no wall that it hit past 3K proving it's not defueling... the title of the thread.

if there wasnt a issue would bob and marco be going thru all the crap for us.

the first sentence in my post said that. Believe me, they aren't going through anything they don't normally do. Your complain will only be one aspect of Marco's tuning. The Smarty has progressed over the year by them doing these tuning sessions.
