Lever SFI approved 3600 12cb.

I went through the same thing with my truck. At first I thought it was the hydraulics and adjusted my pushrod a little longer, but it turns out one of the levers on the plate started to "drop". I was able to drive the truck like you are describing for a few weeks and then one morning I started it up to go to work and could not get it in gear. One of the bolts holding the lever to the plate broke and I could not disengage the clutch. I called up SBC and they told me exactly what it was.

Sounds like exactly what happened to mine. I got a good hook on it today, then in the pulloff my clutch wouldn't fully engage. I smoked the clutch so bad that I couldn't shift past 2nd gear without it slipping on the drive home. I honestly think the hydraulics caused the issue. Sometimes the clutch would fully release, others it wouldn't. If I held the pedal down for a second, then shift, it would release. Peter told me to remove the spacer behind the slave cylinder & try it. I did that & the clutch wouldn't hold power. I took it for a short test drive & was afraid to turn around & come home it was slipping so bad.
