WOW no faith in Reiff Diesel. I cant wait to see dyno numbers. I think we need some new ideas.

i am all the way with bswope on this one you got to watch out for that guy and the liberator conversation was hilarious

I would just like to see some results/numbers. I know that John and Lloyd know their stuff, and personally, if they have not done it, I don't think that it's been done yet.

I am, however, open to new ideas.

Lets see those numbers.

Sad part is the fuel is metered, by a few components

thats a very good visual :badidea: I can buy a dual pump kit anyday of the week for less that 3k so I would go that route for I had to move everything around in the engine compartment. might as well buy that grand poh bah pump for that much work :hehe:

Looks like a high pressure feed pump, talk about a major strain and load on the end of the CP3 crank!

John

It is true....I broke the end of the crank twice with the ORIGINAL lift pump!

If you stuff is "so good" then what do you have to worry about? Stop spreading FUD!

See note above.

What did i do to piss you off? I DO! know these things inside and out and that fancy thing hanging off the back of that pump wont do crap to make the pump flow more, period! I'm for people inovating evrything including CP3's, it's better for evryone. What really make these pumps flow more are the areas inside that you can't see, I'm sure Shane will back me up on this.

John

John was just putting something he knew out there for general knowledge, based on his experience. Sharing is caring...:rockwoot:

Well thats looking up, you mount a filter after the lift pump right......you don't want and possible metal from it going through the cp3.

seems that's not possible since it's mounted directly to the CP3.

ok, I'm not understanding what it's for then. The CP3 is a gear pump isn't it ? What's the point of installing an additional pump to it ? Is it just there to " assist " the CP3 to put out more LPH ?

I'd have to agree on the cost.... not bashing their product but, for 3K duals would serve the purpose so much better !

The cp3 high pressure section is a piston pump with a gear section for filling, (the part at the back).
This pump (as far as I can tell by a simple photo) has maybe a modded gear section, plus a general gear lift pump off the back.

II's 85% over pumps weren't that cheap either.....

No I don't but now I think I know who you are.[/QUOTE]

Well if ya know who I am look me up at some of the pulls so we can chat abit, id like to watch your truck in action also and see what this pump can do!
