Street 12 valves: timing

Running 18*, see about 36-3700rpm (can peg the tach though when I lose traction) and get 16-17 mpg, w/ winter fuel.

i was at 15.5* for 2 years, but pulls harder on up top at 18* and with 4.10's i need that. i was at 60psi on a stock hx35 for 5 or 6 months with 15.5* timing on stock headgasket before the turbo let go, then i had the timing bumped up to 18* and i was back to 60+psi on the new turbo still on the stock headgasket, with studs of course, and the truck is driven every day, with light towing in there with an s400 single. and my fuel mileage is around 14-15 if im nice to it, but i think thats due to the constant haze i get from my injectors and the turbo being so big.(boost gauge starts to move around 1500)

i run 25* and just got back from 1200 mile round trip and got 19mpg on the highway and i put about 10000 miles a year on the truck

i am at 19.5* it seems to be a happy medium for this set up. idles good and pulls hard. and not to bad on starting in the cold mornings.

16.5 deg and i got 18.3 mpg on a trip doing 80 on the freeway, and 70 on the highway. reved on the dyno to 3800+

What gears? Did you run that timing at the Sublimity pulls? You could hear some good timing when you pulled.

I think I run either 24 or 26. I can't remember its been to long. Will peg my 100lb boost gauge :blahblah1:

I ran 23* every day with a single hx52 370's and full cuts...loved it, and it started just fine even on cold mornings.
