I couldn't imagine running this turbo on a stock head. I bought a new tailpipe for my truck because mine was rusting, never installed it yet. I got under the truck today to check things out, the tailpipe has holes all through it now....I'm blaming this charger.:hehe:

You just better hope that the economy doesn't pick up in the next couple of weeks cause if it does I'll be knocking on lmills door. LOL
 
just so ya know this thread is breaking my heart and bank account. I've been contemplating this charger for months and this just makes me want to get one even more now. What size sticks are you running with it? I was going to throw some DDP 200's at it with the adrenaline, just wondering what your full setup was, and what you think it will make horsepower wise?
 
I am running the the Super B Special with #100 plate FF, 3K springs, Benched pump, Extrude 370s, 4inch dp w/ 5inch exhaust, and S&B intake on 48psi on manual tranny with Valair DD. Spool time isnt bad at all. Totally different feeling, comes on a little slower obviously but when It fires it fires hard! Redynoing Saturday morning and I will let ya know the numbers!
 
200s in my opinion will be overkill for this turbo. Save your money cause your 150s will suffice fine! My 370s spool it fine and clear up nice under full boost!

I have Mach 5's [200hp], should be around 575hp or so, not sure.
 
I'm runnin the DDP 2's........was aiming for that number that 724 posted as well!!
 
I got to tow my mini excavator today. Total load with trailer, auger, bits, buckets & machine is around 12k#. The charger did everything I wanted it to do. I ran Smarty sw4 default & Adrenaline PL04 [timing 10, fuel stretch 1800]. I pulled a few big hills & some were from dead stop at bottom. To my surprise, this charger spools better with a load. It felt about the same as my old 62/71/14 as far as spoolup goes, but cools things down better. My max egts were 1276* & 55psi boost from reading on Pulse monitor datalogger. I am very happy with this setup & my brother is very disappointed that I will be keeping this charger.

Remember, I have 4.10 gears & 5 speed. It may not work for others as it does for myself. I don't want to make you buy something that won't work for you & you be mad at me.:hehe:
 
Well dang. I can hit 1500 pretty easy with my 150s, drag comp and no load. When I get the truck back from Jeff's I'll do some testing.
