The Garmon built "Interceptor" build status!

looks like a party! Its a a little easier torquing bolts when the engines out of the truck. Its always a good workout by the time you finish all 26.

Damb, you certainly cooked that first 1. Build is looking good.

Yeah, That bad boy is F'd up!!!

Nice little piece for Jeff's Wall of Carnage he's got setup in the Green Room Saloon there in his shop......That's the bar, memerabeilia, and living quarters of his shop....Man it's sweet hangin down there..

I've got 2 piece's on the wall now....My stock intermediate shaft was my first carnage to go there.....That dang $2.00 lock up switch took care of that!!! LOL

:poke: Ya got too many "valve's" Dude:kick: That thing ain't gonna fly:hehe: Good Luck, and it look's good. Gary

Hey now!! The CR is the future!! =)

BUT, I'm working on adding a 12V to the stable as a tow rig....Maybe...

Thanks Gary!!!:Cheer:

Did ya write down his torque sequence magic? Cuz I see you are just running head bolts. ;-)

No, didn't write it down....I asked him if he keeps that stuff a secret...He just shrugged his shoulders and said, "Nah!!! It's no big deal...I'd tell anybody"

I sure he'd share it if ya called him or something!!

Gonna see how the stockers hold for me with my O-ring job and the 24v gasket.....It's gonna be interesting with the twins!!! But the decompression should help a tad to spare the gasket!!!

We'll see!!!

Either way you are a lucky man to be able to work on your truck under Jeff and have access to his tools and "secrets"!!!

The answer is YES!! to your questions when you see these!!

Yes they are stock head bolts!!
Yes they are torqued to 150 ft. lbs.!!
Yes Jeff and Darren have stock head bolts in all of there trucks!!
Yes it works!!

BUT, I think this is the first CR that will be tested at the power level and psi that Jeff and Darren have done......

I just gonna totally trust Jeff on this and run em.....He's got WAY too much experience for me not too...

If it works and Jeff will reveal his secrets, ARP may go out of business!!! LOL

Do you know the cause of the burnt piston? How Much of a groove was cut in the head?

All I know is that when you have an injector making weird noises, GET IT THE HELL OUT OF THERE!!!!

I didn't know asking what it was and left it in too long....Got bad enough to start "NOT starting".......Got 3 new injector bodies warrantied from a buddy of mine at Dodge but he damage was already done..

Here's the kicker!!!!! THE FREAKIN THING WAS STILL RUNNING AND I RACED IT LIKE THAT AND DYNO'D 584HP/1167TQ WITH IT LIKE THIS!!!!

Man that says a lot for Cummins!!!!!

Only had a weird knock that made me suspesious and some sputtering and white smoke on a cold start!! Finding this was really a big surprise!!!!

Looks good dude. Jeff's shop looks clean and organized! I'm sure you will be happy with the new mill/

Man your Avatar is gut wrenching
