huh.... the previous post tells me nothing about where they have been? You wont find me leaving the state of ohio to watch a sled pull.... except for ts and schied... my ****s broke and has been for over a month and will be prob. untill april or may of next year..

Which is why you haven't seen them. BECAUSE YOU NEVER LEAVE OHIO!!! Thats what they just said or am I getting another thread confused?? Cause I know I said in my previous post, that in a previous I stated where they had gone and what they had accomplished. So in my next post I guess I will refer you back to that previous post so you dont have to search.:hehe:

OK your correct , give it a rest sh!t

no ***t! i dont care what state has the best trucks, whether its Ohio, Missouri, kentucky, Pennsylvania, utah, or Hawaii, no state will dominate at any given sled pull. It will just depend on their set up matching the sled and track that day. People will always make mistakes, or draw a bad number. Even if you have a 100hp over the whole class, you wont win every pull. Its just how it goes! This whole poll: is just telling what state has the most guys sled pulling on the internet!

Jeff Strothcamp, SDX 05. Made a whole bunch of bad choices, and lost a pull (12th)he certaintly could have, should have won.

Won the qualifier. Gave him choice of pulling first or last. He chose first.

Hi side of the track or low side. He went low. The rest of the class went high.

First hook has the option of dropping. He kept it.

the good ol days!

Wonder if he is ever gonna get back in it. Heard lots of rumors for the last couple of years but yet to see anything.

I see him occassionally at some brushpulls in Franklin county in a dark green 24V... looks like his DD though.

I dont see a 2.6 truck doing to good beens there gna let a 2.8 n a 3.0 run bushing n be n our class as long as it has registration and insurance. To me its not fair to use thats trying to run a legal 2.6 truck.

I see him alot, just not this pulling truck. I'm not gonna ask him about it. If he wants to tell he will. So I just leave it alone.

Get a compressor housing for a 2.8 or 3.0 charger made with a 2.6 inducer and read the rules and make sure it is legal. If bushings are legal just get a bushing.

Bushings are only allowed in the 3.0 class to make 2.8... i didnt read anything about a 2.8 or 3.0 truck can bush down to a 2.6? only the custom housings can be used no bushings.

Where Does It Say That?

From Scheid website:

Turbocharger: The vehicle is limited to a 2.6 inducer single turbocharger. The reducer has to be within 3/4 “ of the compressor wheel. The 2.6 bore has to be maintained for ¾”. The inlet will be measured using a 2.65 inch plug the plug must not be able to enter the inducer bore. A stock map width enhancement (MWE) groove is allowed. No MWE groove will be allowed that has a width greater than .200”. All provisions allowing air into the wheel other than via the bore and the MWE groove are prohibited.

What do you think you're pulling against most of the season anyway??

right, i knew it said that.. i was confused why they called it a reducer in one set of rules and a bushing in the other set of rules...? I talked with joe anyways and yes they allow bushings.. I thought when he said reducer he meant the custom 3.0 chargers that have custom compressor covers that reduce to a 2.6 opening... which most top 10 2.6 trucks run anyways..
