Truckers, lets see your rigs!

Anyone have any experience of those TrailerTails from ATDynamics ? They now allow 50cm extra length for aerodevices in European Union. Was planning to buy my own trailer and maybe try those to save fuel.

Feels good to get out of the shop for a few days.

Had a great week, been outran by a 14L Detroit and basically pushed up the hill by an ISX..... Accerts are great they said.... Lol. Nothing worse than trying to run with guys and holding them up on hills and taking off from lights. I need to get my B model back on the road.

Tune that SOB.

How much boost is your acert making?

I will push just a little past 40 if I'm really winding it out and pushing the crap out of it. It just has never impressed me. From the mileage to the power to the starting. Everybody says tuning it will make a difference, but a new combine came first this year lol. But now I'm making longer runs so its getting easier to justify the tuning.

It should hit 43-45 without winding out. I would replace the fuel relief valve if it hasn't been recently

Gathering parts towards getting my Detroit back on the road. Billet 6blade S475/96-1.32 and some necessary bling bling lights.

Anybody know if there was ever a 14L Detroit highway motor without EGR and such?

Pressure test your CAC, if that's ok I wouldn't rule out a broken exhaust sleeve took some blades off turbine wheel(s).

You would be surprised how many trucks are running around with leaking charge air coolers.

I haven't seen this as much on acerts as I have on the older models. I take you have?

My unit. I'm no super trucker but I've run this for two years. 09 sterling ISC 330 hp, Allison 6 speed behind it, 2 speed rear end. Egr dpf deleted and tuned for 425hp, best $2500 ever spent.
