Truckers, lets see your rigs!

Question for you independent haulers, I've got a fella wanting me to haul a big ass snap on toolbox, hutch, and roll cart from williston ND to Boise Idaho for him on the gooseneck flatbed I'm hauling home, its 946 miles loaded, plus a 280 mile bounce back home empty, fuel is going to cost me around $400, what should I charge the guy for freight?

Might see what the hot shot guys are charging. I'd say around $1

Pulling a 40' PJ tandem dual. Its just gonna have my cruze, a 314 John Deere I bought, and this fellas boxes on it. I was thinking $700 but I figured I'd get some opinions, I want to give him a good deal cuz he's a retired marine, but I don't want to fukk myself either

And I thought that Emodel I was in was gutless... Slap 24 ton on the back of this thing and this Cmodel dies. PEEC cats suck

I rarely haul anything under 1.5 over the table that's back haul loads.. Out I'm $2+..

At 10mpg you'll have ~130 gallons of fuel in the trip..
700 is decent for some under table work.. My dispatch would have quoted min 1000.00.

Just the man I was hoping to hear from!

There are personality modules that can be changed, but in all honesty it should be converted to full mechancal because if it ever lays down trouble shooting will be a mother on that system.

I've already put a bug in his ear about mechanical. We have three of them. Lol

Go on about the personality module though.

As for the L that actually looks good with double rounds on it... Here it is.

Being the only LTL truck in a 50 truck fleet has its advantages plus being able to load 35' and 20,000lbs helps to..
I'm usually chasing the big trucks on oversize loads... I usually see close to 3.00 a mile with those.... I just dropped a parts load for an oversize in montgomery MN 1200 mile run from baltimore.md... Backhaul paying 550 for~800 miles but picked up 30 miles from unload and deliver 40 miles from my house..

The crane is a double hook 65t/25t. Got delivered to the GM plant in Lansing. Michigan... The trolley for said crane is 32,000lbs plus end trucks and connecting links

Run into a dilemma. Here's the fenders I got to mount and if mounted off the frame and set at 1/2" above the tires when deflated it leaves me with 1.5" from to of gender to fifth wheel plate height.

I'd set them closer than 1/2, however, I never measured the last truck I was in but those full fiberglass fenders were very close and I never personally managed to hit them.

What type trailer are you planning on pulling and what is your average delivery place setup like? Ideally when running full fenders you want lowpro tires and a high mount fifth wheel. IIRC you have 11r24.5 tires and it looks like you have a low profile slider which is a bad combo for full fenders.
