Truckers, lets see your rigs!

Went spec'd out couple class 5 trucks to take over towing duties.. Couple weeks ago..
Basicly 375hp ISL9/13ps 8k/17.5k axles. ~3.08 gears 33/36" tires. Mechanical diff lock, jake brake, 84" CA
Be pretty nice if I could get ADB in a 19.5 wheel, 22.5 be low pro

Have you ever drove anything with 19.5" wheels? I hear they ride rough because of such little side wall. Not sure if 22.5 low pros would be the same.

Both trucks in my sig have 225/70/19.5 tires

My 450 is on 225/70r19.5s too, rides really nice for a small medium duty!

My 450 is on 245/70r19.5 Michelin XDS2s. Little nicer with little bigger rubber. I got rid of the Alcoas.

I'd like to go 245 but I go through fronts faster than rears. I can't justify replacing good tires just for a size change

BRE if you haven't already seen this you'll either love it or scream blasphemy. I thought it was pretty sweet. Also a good way to make a 379 short hood cool. Basically just modded a 359 hood onto a 379 short hood.

The red standup truck was build by Chase Shiver. I love those trucks. There is a lot of modifying to make that work. Chase posted pictures and some details as he built the red one.
My problem with 379 short good trucks isn't that the hoods aren't long, it's always been the taper down that I've hated. Which is why I have no problem with short hood 359's.
I'd rock a short hood 379 in a heartbeat like those two. I highly approve of it.

Where did you follow this?!? I looked up his Facebook page and there wasn't anything on there since like 2012 and the link to the "new page" didn't work. I saw some of his work and his International build on LargeCarMag.com's forum and was bummed when he stopped updating that one. I love that guy's work!!!

You're right though, it's crazy how much a little thing like not having the sloped hood completely changes the look of the truck. It looks SO much better that way, I don't know why they didn't build them like that from the factory. The W900L's could really benefit from a straight hood too. They would look 100 times better.

That's from his Instagram. His personal Facebook has some stuff.

He sold the international. He also gave up on the cabover freightliner as well. Huge shame on that cause it was gonna be large.
