ETT moves a good deal more air... lower EGT's, more power, same spool-up
I have the d-tech compounds - 62/65/12~S475 - their S400 kit, and YES they are ETT. The only issue I have had is getting the wastegate set, PITA, but I think I may just go with a spring gate, then I'd be running off drive pressure, it would be a ton easier to get them set/balanced.
I have had NO bark, did have a little hang in RPM's once or twice, but I think that has more to do with my driving than the turbos - blame placed appropriately, eh?
I can tell you that I am more than pleased with their performance, both running empty and towing. I went twins due to high EGT's when towing, they have NOT left me down, EGT's run around 1100*s going up 6% and greater grades in 5th gear pulling over 12K-18K loads.
I AM a happy twinner.
