Whats the Best fix for this?? Small Freeze Plugs??

Any update one the install.
And while Im' asking anybody know the part number for the rubber gromet bolts that hold the valve cover down?

Swole, check out EEP for the bypass kit, got mine for 165 delivered next day I believe. He was good to deal with and warm up isn't an issue if you adjust the valve right. Took me a few days of turning 1/4 turn to get it just right. I think you made a good choice threading the internal plugs, the pressure should just move to the weakest link which will be an external plug that is a little easier to diagnose. The install of the Dr. P threaded freeze plug kit went VERY well!!!

The tapping and plug was very easy....only part that worried me was getting all the shavings out of the head.....I just used a pen magnet to get most of them and then blew the whole thing out with air serveral times...

BTW!!! Anyone looking to try this on there own and not buy the Dr. P kit.....Give it a Second thought!!! Ty and I found out the hard way that due to the hole size in the head and the fact that it's in between sizes for most ALL american sized stuff.....Getting ahold of plugs and a this tap is HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Almost Non-existant!!

Point is, I'm sure it can be done but you will go thru hell finding what you need....Or you'll have to drill out the head first to go with the next American size up from what it really is.....

Do yourself a favor and Contact Dr. P.......There's a reason why they charge what they do for this kit!!
 
Any chance you'd be willing to share the size pipe plug being used in that kit? I'm ready to do my head right now, it's at the machine shop, Please!!:poke:
