Who Has Been Bent Over The Barrel By Monster Pump Mike ???

had pretty much everything i have now, minus the cam and pump. was using an SO pump before. actually the last time i dynoed before pump changeout was with a set of twins and made 460. with the cam and pump and other mods that are the same, im making 605 as of now.

I think most of you guys that rave about him and his pump are like you Weazel, they were making less than 500 HP. I was at 670 HP with a single turbo and my $1000.00 SO pump I dropped to 652 HP with the MONSTER TURD. Thanks Steve B.

Where's that type of B.S going to get you? Sue happy world, cops that LOVE to take people to jail........ You guys would be out more than if you just let it be.

What would you suggest ??? Thanks Steve B.

12vdzl just let it go, maybe your rich or something. $3000 is alot of money to just let go. I'm not saying to go f*** him up, but sometimes a little face to face and people can come to a understanding. Bye the way I am the poe poe and I do love my job.

ctd8999 i would give it one more try. call him, leave a message, call with another number, have gus or someone contact him for you, or email him. if none of that works i would pack acouple shells, get his address and make a drive.

That is some funny sh!t right there...:hehe:

Emphasis on the word MOST these Steve. I've been running these pumps ways longer than you and most anybody else and have had ZERO problems. I think your situation is one of a very very few.

Gus thats not true, you told me yourself on the phone you been through a multiple pumps. One that just seized up, another that didnt run right (wouldn't turn the rpms like steve's pump is doing) and that you have sent quite a few back to be replaced.

Straight from Mike's mouth, Gus you have had several problems.

Straight from my mouth - stay out of my business. Thanks Shane

I have had two problems - first pump and then one not to long ago cause entirely by something not to do with the pump. Had one that was a so so runner and it was replaced with a new one. You'll have problems with anything mechanical simply the nature of the beast - of course. The customer service has been fine with me - never the first problem.

Quit lying then.....................Glad Joe and Wes could get your Redline connected properly for you, guess you owe some added performance to them.

God I love the internet....

Gus. like I posted some where my pump has more miles in a UPS truck, than it had on my truck. If you've had no problems your a lucky man. I talked to another MONSTER TURD owner form out west the other day. He said he's not really having much luck with his. I know when I talked to you at Bowling Green you had mentioned the thousands of dollars that you had in your 3rd gen head, I can't remember the exact #. If this is what you need to make power with a MONSTER TURD, hell you're better off to put a complete 3rd gen engine in your truck it probably would be cheaper. Unless you where just spouting out the figures to impress the few guys that were standing around there. Thanks Steve B.

I did have to borrow a fuse from Joe since you're still trying to keep up. You get your CP3 parts back from Mike yet? He and I were 'discussing' those and you just the other day.

Steve - there is a CR head on the automatic truck and the 'old' on is now on the 6 speed truck. All of the better passes and dyno time was with the old head. So to say you have to have this much in head to make power with the Monster VP's is incorrect. I have had my doubts since changing from the standard 24 to the CR head. I probably do have 'thousands' in that setup, ARP 625 studs, ZZ Fab Intake, P&P and then the o-ring job not to mention getting an 06 head.

I think that your issue seems to be more with the service you've received after the sale than anything and rightly so. Hence my comment about having zero problems in referrence to the service I have received. After talking with TJ his comment to me was that there is a big difference in power up to 3K and then it starts it 'stuff.' They make power for sure but I think that you've gotten one that's not exactly what it should be from what I've been told. I hope that somehow this whole thing get's resolved.

Not the same as having "ZERO" problems...

Title of the thread - Who Has Been Bent Over The Barrel By Monster Pump Mike??

My reply is zero problems - no problems with this ever happening. Never said no problems with the pumps. I'm pretty sure my math is still correct and it's still the same - zero problems with Mike's service with me. Never did I say I've only had 1 pump and it's been top notch - there is a difference. Just wanted to point that out.

Good cover there Gus.

Just explaining exactly what I meant. For some folks - things have to be very clearly explained. I for one thought we were talking about bad service or 'getting screwed' on a deal not pump failure/malfunction. Just staying on topic.
