Wilmington,OH - Springfield,OH COTPC

I heard the promoters at Springfeild told the sled operator they didn't want anyone over 300ft.

I am good freinds with singers and have help work on there sleds for the past four years. The sled that was there has over 500 hocks on new spikes. So they are not new. Have been on there sense the first of last fall. Also they were told to not let any one pass 300' this past weekend and also the weekend before by the promoter. sounds like the track sucked to me.

the sled operator was telling everyone that they just got done welding on new growsers (sp) last week.

you can still stop everyone before 300 feet without hitting them that hard. and for what its worth springfeild is one of the best tracks you will ever hook on.

breaking parts goes along with the sport. everyone hates it, it sucks. when you are on a track with good bite and have a hard hitting sled it happens. i just wish after the first gas class or atleast after the 10 plus 2.6 trucks that broke he would have changed his aproach.

had a weight fall off truck, I find this to be a very contridicting rule! the rules state if you lose a weight or any part off the truck you are diq. so what about all the other trucks that broke that night that had parts laying on the ground? why no dq?

its kind of a saftey deal. if you unexpectedly brake something and parts end up on the track its kind of unpreventable. wieghts need to be secure.. out of all of the trucks out there im really surprised that he dropped one. that sucks. on the other hand im really surprised everyone didnt loose something out there the way they all were bounciing.

Some places are anything on the track, gone-including liquid.
Our rule is losing a weight under the green. Parts is ok.
