He ran a, 9.6x and ran another 9.77. There was a very bad crash at the big end of the track. We are packing up for the day. Please send some prayers for the driver, he is in bad shape.

Thats too bad, hope he is ok

Yeah, hope to hear how he's doing tomorrow. He was driving a 6 second AA/gas door slammer, got turned sideways in the shut down area and hit k rail opening in the turn off. The whole front of the car separated from the rest of the chassis, and rolled into the dunes setting the grass on fire. The driver stayed with the other half of the car that tumbled to the end of the track. Chutes never deployed. Be safe everybody.

Bponci's altered

Here are the latest videos that I took from 6-18-11. Remember these are his licensing passes. Tomorrow he should be able to do a full run without letting off. All he has to do is two passes under 10.0 and one with him pulling his parachute. Then he should get his license and be able to do what he wants to do.

Just ran a 9.31at 139. Converter unlocked clicked OD just before the line.

that first run would have been a 9.48 or so if the 1.57 rule applied correctly.. glad that brad was safe and everything ran well.
our prayers to the crash guy, hope he recovers soon..

That's hauling Brad, can't wait to see it run in person. Any word on the driver that had the accident?

That's killer. Good to see the chassis workin right off the bat. Low 9s with no lockup? Gotta be a record! LOL

From one of his crew members. He has badly broken both legs, right sholder, maybe wrist, mild concussion (sp?) He has undergone several surgeries to his legs, but the good news is he is awake and talking with his family, there doesn't appear to any internal injuries. His safety equipement saved his life without a doubt.

Safetey equipment save lives for sure: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9X0T8N9V4I0"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9X0T8N9V4I0[/ame]

Sorry about the crappy pics. It's out of an old Cummins marine parts catalog printed in 1988.

It was the best choice pan I could find for the Altered, it did a Great job; pretty pricey though. 4 gallon capacity, internal baffles, lots of drain locations, and easy to fill with a 'full' port on each side; Not to mention great ground clearnace when setting low in a tube chassis....
