I honestly have nothing against them, they have lots of room inside and they seem to be nice for drivers. They're just not for me.

Essentially I may just have to say F it... My age screws me. Everybody laughs at a kid looking to getting into trucking.
Just more stuff to go wrong, and maybe these days if all these school boys had to learn on a truck that they actually had to change gears in it would maybe weed out some of the people that should have never been allowed to get behind the wheel on their own.
That salesman needs to go sell kiasAnyone running the auto transmission? When I was talking to the kw salesman he said they are good. Any input?
Winner winner chicken dinner!

Drive whatever makes you happy and makes you $$$. However IMO if i can't raise the hood and see all 6 cyl I'm not buying it. Last think I want is a greasy ass mechanic doing engine work from INSIDE the cab. Buddy was doing a head gasket on a guys Sterling dumptruck. Truck was a POS anyway but one of his guys was sitting on the floor inside the truck guiding the head when they sat it back on. :clap:I realized I sounded kinda like a volvo nutswinger, so let me say I by no means like it any better over any other nosegrinder truck it's just what I bought. And I definately agree with the motivation part. Mine is in the form of a 2000 Pete 378 sitting in my yard. By the time I get it on the road (hopefully in a month or two) I'll have 20k in a basically rebuilt truck that should bring 30 if I'd sell it.
Getting a class a isn't hard. Amazing people Have to cheat on there tests ! But I don't know how you guys do it. The trucks now are just unreliable and not what it used to be with logs and all
How do people cheat? The test is pretty much cut and dry. Either you know the material for the pre trip and can drive or you don't.

Here is the new 2 cyl Cummins ISX in a Prostar. I'm only guessing it's a 2-cyl since that's all you can see. I've seen trucks after a head on crash that didn't shove the motor back that far. :nail:
