posted a link to this over on 3500hd.com you may get some more questions, some good guys on there with alot of info..

just wondering how many miles you are up to with this combo?

pushign 16,000 miles
broke with 97800 now 122,000

im on there but there aint much action over there

that's great, I know but there aren't that many people modding 3500hd's or that recognize what a great truck they are..

I will do the caliper upgrade when I do the brakes, thanks for the info,

Was just through your neck of the woods, did a 6k mile road trip with the kids for a martial arts world competition and visit family, averaged 17.2 , best of 19 (here to denver) worst of 13.6(mountains of NC running 80mph) most tanks were 18mpg all I had was the bed loaded.. just enough to make it ride nice.. if I went over 70mph the mileage started to fall fast..

I have only had one tank running really loaded with a heavy trailer and it was over donner pass and it was 11mpg.. so your average mpg is great in the MPG department..

im up in casper wyoming right now.
took this out here from springfield oh

i avg 11 running 65 across NE I80 with 500 miles of ~20-25mph full on to 3/4 head wind

did find a place where diesel was 3.73 at a exxon in cheyenne wy the only place i have seen it cheaper was BFE KY at 3.68

we paid from 3.60 in NC to 4 bucks, made me want to finish the under the bed waste oil tank, that the metal is sitting here for... but other things are more pressing..

that must have been a good paying load? stuff for the oil feilds..??

just rolled 128XXX bought with 87,000 dmax swap at 98,000 no issues with 4l85E

tires are almost done.. mpg is down about 1mpg most likely due to tires having 4-5/32 vs 15-18/32 of new

though about submitting couple pic to several mags.. but not sure about it..

just upgraded then front brake line from MC to propostioning vavle form 3/16 to 1/4.
picked up some 1/2x20 for 1/4" line and 30" striaght section of 1/4 brake line.
biggest difference is the brake apply/release quicker the before.

ran across an old MD GM tech that work on the out on long island. he told me that the wreck prop valve would allow more rear tire braking over the std prop valve.. outside he was impressed about the swap
