Here is a comparison of the 68mm "J" cup turbine wheel, and the laggy old 73mm clipped wheel.

Sony guys, the picture I posted of the "J" cupped turbine wheel is not the "J" cup style.
Smokem pointed this out to me in a PM. (Thank you)

I just went back in my old posts and found those pictures of past turbos I have used. (It may have been the 73mm I ran for a bit...not sure.)
 
The first picture you posted is of the older 68mm turbine wheel. Thanks for adding the info, it is often hard to find good pictures of turbine wheel differences.
 
What I assume is a 73 clipped from an S310 Cat C9 app.

The newer 68mm turbine wheel is essentially the same as the 71mm wheel posted on the previous page.

What I've seen on some sites is $925 for the 66 and $1000 for the 69mm. Unless you looked on ii website then they are slightly higher

Care to share where you found those prices?

Heard the 69mm will move around 98lbs/min....compared to a cast 66mm which moves about 80lbs/min.


Anyone wanna 66/68/.83 with vband connection? Lol

Wasn't there an issue with shaft failure on that large of a wheel
 
Does anybody have maps for the sxe 66 or 64.5 they care to share?
