14mm p-pumps

No, that is good, accurate info. There is more knowledge on this site, and the guys are quicker to help then any other site I've been on or to.

But the thing is, we are a band of brothers (to quote Shakespeare) and there are a few things that will impact how you are viewed on here, and by extension how much help you will get.
  • We don't take to kindly to people telling us how great and smart they are. Especially when it is all their accomplishments in other motorsports. Good for you for having done xxxxx in xxxxx. This ain't that.
  • Don't treat us like idiots when you don't recieve the help and answers you want, or think you deserve.
  • Don't post threads to ask questions so you can get info that you think will prove your new idea is brilliant. We can see what you are doing, and it's not gonna sit well with us.
  • Don't treat us like idiots, and don't expect us to respect you by default. Respect is earned. So earn it. Treating others with respect is a good start.
  • Don't attack our brothers on here. It won't set well, or endear you to us at all. That will reduce our desire to help you.

Post of the year material right here.

What I am trying to figure out with all of your posts recently is this...
How a washed up motorcycle bracket racer knows more about P-Pumps than all of the big shops who specialize in building them.

Wait till you guys see the Quad-Fed 33.56mm Dual P-pump fed by 12cp3s Fed by 5.5 Vp44s

What I am trying to figure out is just how much you have read on this site.

Man, front page, YOUR FAMOUS NOW!!!

Keep it above the belt, fellas. Let's get back on a semi relevant topic or this one's done.

i dont know many super stock racers that dont know that dont know the difference between heads up index and bracket racing

hate bracket racing - always have

washed up? what ever, if you googled me you saw that a little over 6 months ago i entered my first ever national event...and won!

weston, it appears they work in the 2000 and 3000 pumps as well

Ok... enough fun. Seriously, Don in all seriousness, what are you trying to gain out of all this... Are you planning on making a new pump housing? A new front cover to accept a different pump, or just trying to prove you're right.. Because anyone who knows hydraulics knows you are right. Flow is always path of least resistance. If you have 150 gph rushing down an injection pump facing another feed it will all go out the return (shortest path/ path of least resistance). Actually i bet if someone were to use clear hose and watch the fuel, I bet the front feed would have hardly any flow at all... But i will say that you better spill your guts and get your show on the road here, before all the 'monkey-see monkey-doo' bashing happens......

stfu and spread em...cuz i am fixin to go up in ya. what am i gonna gain? how many guys you know running a 14mm pump ON THE STREET?

you sure about that? about the front hose having no volume? i think all the volume would be in the front hose and none in the rear but i am always wrong so let me have it...again

spill my guys? why? so you can all lay into me and tell me what a lame has been i am?

no thanks

since holding the pump body in my hands i have already came up with 2 more ideas. checked with seth and neither have been tried before

i am building 2 pumps

a 12mm 400cc street/strip pump and a 14mm 1200cc strip pump

if mike will ever call me back i'll buy his truck and put the big pump on it...after it gets back halved n some 15/33 eagles

later friends

Dude, i know these guys have been ripping on ya but you need some ridlin or a peice of ass. Calm down alittle.

Here is my serious question for you.

Why in the f would you want, need a 14mm ppump for the strip?

Yes it has not been done as common knowledge, but for good reason. It is not needed. All the bs about faster injection rates and what ever else gets brought up about big pumps for smaller applications aside, what are you wanting to accomplish? I think I.I. has a 14mm pump on there website for 5k+ . Just buy that one and give it a try.

TELL US WHAT AND WHY YOU WANT A 14MM PUMP AND SEE IF ANYBODY SAY'S "YOU KNOW THAT JUST MIGHT WORK"

With the excessive nature of your post and lack of info, you are going to get hammerd. Look at the guy who want to build a ppump with vp style electronics. If there was something that was going to trun the world upside down, somebody with money would have allready (bosch) would be making the profits.

Tim

Personally have had good luck. At least better than a maxed out 13mm pump.
It all comes down to the quality of the parts you use and proper setup for application.

There are better things to come down the road.

TELL US WHAT AND WHY YOU WANT A 14MM PUMP

i got a better idea...

you go buy that pc of sh!t from industrial

i will build 'what and why' ever i want

then we'll race and see who did right

whatcha think?

don

ps - to make it more interesting we could each put what ever we got into our pump in a hat and winner take all
