72 C10 Duramax Swap

You interested in getting rid of those h2 wheels off the wrecked truck ? Shoot me a pm.

Looks great!!! I my end up doing this someday, since now i have a extra cab and long box, but I have to fix them first. How much trouble was it to mount that brake booster and master cylinder up?

Getting the bed mounted, rear lights wired up... Spliced the harnesses together. Got all lights but turn signals working. Its going to need a separate light for the turn signal, as the brake light harness backfeeds the signal wires and cancels the signal. Ill figure something out

Took me all day, but I got the headlight harness built, electric fan wiring done, running lights and turn signal wiring ran. Hid's in the headlights, and I pickup up an LED light bar to run under the front bumper (mainly to cover the frame that hangs below the bumper). But if that setup looks too ghetto Im not going to stick with it.

Made some filler plates for the front of the frame that was so mangled up. Its pretty easy to see that the left side is tweaked up a good inch... Im not even gonna try to fix it.

My lightbar does a good job of covering up the frame that sticks down below the bottom of the bumper, but it also looks gay... Oh well, Ill leave it on there for now

think I have everything on order for the twin turbo setup.

s475/96 1.32
All the piping/lines/fitting/ battery box on the way as well. A trio of gauges too.

So for performance stuff this truck will have:

EFI live dsp5 w Danville tunes
Stock over s475 twins
Danville 10% over LBZ cp3 (its like 40 over a stock lb7)
Ported rail fittings
Fully built suncoast gmax 5 trans
Some kind of lift pump (still wating for an ebay deal)
Tractions bars/tie rod sleeves

No idea on the weight yet, Ill run it up the road to the grain elevator and get it weighed here shortly. I would guess 5500-6k lbs

Little progress....

Its now street legal, or street lethal... whatever. I ordered a rear bumper from LMC too... Apparently they have the slowest shipping... Ever
