755 HP 6.o with stock Turbo

First of all, you have Frankie and Bryan confused. Bryan has 790hp and he had already run 11.51. Frankie will go to the racetrack to run 1/4. The only difference between Frankie's truck and yours is he has a set of 190cc injectors with a 2003 factory turbo. He doesn't have twins or big injectors but it's the same truck as yours. We'll see what he runs on the 1/4 mile.

BTW, Congratulations on your 11.70. That's a good pass.

i had 190cc injectors and i couldn't get anywhere near 11's, the air must be different in florida, good luck guys

SO let me get this straight, with a set of 190's a stock turbo and a 110 DRY shot your saying 755 HP is not only possible, but can match the same setup as a twin turbo truck with larger sticks DJ? If that is the case, then where is the extra fuel going? I saw Redneck run this last weekend, and he was burning through most of the fuel.

SO with my 190's, the Beans turbo, and the 110 shot that is sitting on my desk, I can go to a dyno and nit 755 or better?

Maybe you'd like to elaborate as to what a 110 shot is. That has me confused. Everybody measures a pill to a hp rating on a diesel. If you are referring to a 110 pill, that's a small pill for a 6.0L with injectors. I run 3 pills on my truck and one of them is a 110.

Yes, I am saying with a set of 190's and a stock turbo you can make 755hp. He's got our FUEL+ and a FASS system also.

Then I am going to the Dyno tomoroow, cause i have everything he has, plus the Beans turbo. I am referring to a 110 jet, the physical size of the jet. On the NX pill it says 110. I'm just simply not seeing where enough fuel is coming from? It is simply baffling that this truck is making the same power as 90% of trucks that have larger sticks, and much more air. The after market industry is going to go bankrupt. LOL LOL

OK, under no circumstances do I want this to go the way of the other thread. Lets make damned sure we stick to physics, and nothing gets personal. I want to see how this plays out, but I will not let this turn into a slug fest. I'm not saying anyone is out of line, but I want to make sure it stays that way.

I have been watching this for a while now and I have no opinion either way. I just have a question, what are the tq numbers of these trucks?

Go to the dyno with your setup and see what you dyno. When you get done, let me know, we'll set up your nitrous and see what you get then. BTW, didn't Doug dyno +/-690 with a set of 190's, a Beans turbo and some nitrous? That's, 65hp less than Frankie. Maybe with a better nitrous setup, he can dyno a 755.

I do believe Bryan dynoed 590 on fuel alone and 790 with nitrous. What I am trying to say is very simple ... with nitrous setup correctly, you can do it. Again, all nitrous is not created equal.

DJ

I'm not 100% sure of Dougs numbers, but those sound right. I shouldn't need as much NOS since I have more air. I know you said before placement of the nozzle makes a big difference. If I remember correctly, when Doug Dynoed when he went above a certain pill size he started losing power. I think he just had a Beans wheel too, not the full turbo.

Actually he had the same turbo you have cause I sold it to that customer, a couple of years ago. Yes, nozzle placement makes a difference but there are other things to take into consideration, when setting up nitrous on a diesel. There is trickery to nitrous. Like everything else, if everybody did it the same, everybody would run the same.

The wet kit, according to alot of people, doesn't work or it will blow your motor. It takes a lot of years of practice with diesels and nitrous. The 6.0L is grateful with nitrous, it likes it and likes it. The more you give it the more it wants.

Congratulations to the 755hp kid :clap::clap:

If I read it correctly, your F350 just went 7.55 @ 94mph with a 1.75 - 60 ft. My calculator says you are right about 755hp, maybe even 757. That is a 4-door F350 with 190cc injectors and an 03 turbo? Correct me if I'm wrong, Frankie.

Again, Congratulations :rockwoot:

Uncle DJ :evil

Your right Uncle DJ,Thank You..We will be making plans to hit the 1/4mile soon to see what numbers we can come up with...

Thanks,
Frankie

I have been watching this for a while now and I have no opinion either way. I just have a question, what are the tq numbers of these trucks?

We put the truck on the dyno today and it did 757.52HP and 1192.47 TQ and then went to the track and ran a 7.55 at 94 mph...

Im not calling bs but id like to see someone test some of these injectors to see what they are truly moving fuel wise. If a true 190 is making 755rwhp why arent there a bunch of 800+ trucks? I mean all it should take is plenty of air/nitrous and tuning right?

Or this whole thing just enforcing the fact that anything over 190-220 is just too much for a stock hpop?

Maybe that nitrous spray is a little oily :)

Still, stock turbo getting smacked with that nitrous, shouldn't last much longer.

External waste gate?

i wont believe it until someone tears down the engine to say its stock

with the hard parts of the 6.0psd, head design and the restriction of the stock turbo, i say its physically impossible....

and with the friction material of the stock clutches in the tranny/torque converter, do you know how much pressure it would take to hold 700rwhp? probably more than the pump can make....

just like what my dad used to tell me: believe none of what you hear, and half of what you see!
