me and some buddies were at a car show, and the is guy had a f-250 sittin on like 46" baja claws that looked like about two or three lifts had been welded together and no front driveshaft!! the truck had stock exhaust and intake, so i asked him if he had done any performance mods to this truck and he replied he had a bulldog chip that when turned down it would'nt pull a turd out of a toilet but when turned up hold on!!!!! he said he dynoed it and it was puttin down 1600 foot torques (as he put it) with those tires and like 6:72 gears so then i ask him why was his exahust stock and he replied, so i can sneek up on guys like you!! haha thats funny

Responding to your questions of the truck times..It went 7.74 @ 90.34 with a 1.76 60' at Imokalee Regional Raceway on December 08,2007..This time was never mentioned before because we had a match race pending..On Sundays event at County Line the truck went a 8.48 @ 88mph with a 2.12 60ft due to some difficulties on the launching..Attached is the timeslip

I let my brother run my truck and he ran a 1.815 60ft and 7.653@93.71 in the 1/8th at 6870# w/ 672 hp. He had never drag raced or 4x4 boosted launched in his life.

With that said....anyone driving a 755hp truck should be able to beat that time without a problem.
 
yeah i would want to see this race also!!! so tell me quick 6.0 what all have you done to this truck?

Bobo congrats on your time..My truck is an 06 CREW CAB,4x4, weighing 7800lbs plus driver..And was hitting the rev limiter on all the shifts this was also on a bone stock transmission and convertor....

I am on stand by waiting for Doug he was given a great opportunity by the truck owner to lend him the truck for the race...My trucks Mods are a set of 190's,a 150/180 fass fuel system and a Dj's Fuel regulated kit,Air Aid Intake and big Nos DRYKIT, a Stock Ford Turbo,and a Stock downpipe....
 
I didn't realize Ford was putting suncoast converters and billet shafts in their transmissions these days.:hehe:

They dont its hooked to the crank:bang :doh: Ya know direct drive with four gear vendors joke. Should be a quick truck with all that power and all.
 
I view the Torqshift as the best, even better than the Allison in stock form but not 600+ best.

Actually I know. Had one 6.0 with bully dog on it and thrashed it at 55 so... not very well in my opinion.

You said it Bullydog...Ask John Wood I've heard he's made decent power with these stock trannys...I can't tell you how long they'll hold but it's been done..
