Any new trucks gonna be at TS?

i have never seen a written rule with that in it yet?

I wouldn't consider it a trans brake.

Plain and simple it does meet certain organizations rules. IMO it's a gray area and it says nothing in the rules against it, but then again it says nothing in the rules against having a hydraulic ram that will dig into the track at the end of the run to push you forward a few extra feet. But you don't see anyone doing it.

No one is really *****in it's just got some questions being asked since No one that I know has ran a danco in the 2.6 class and it does seem to be illegal for some orgs..Obviously it ain't in the TS rules so there's no reason why he shouldn't pass tech either way

I dont think people are *****in about how much money he spent or knockin the build cause im sure it is badass, I would say most peoples remarks are more in regards to why spend that much money for a entry level class. If you can afford a dedicated puller, then run in the dedicated puller class (2.8) I know the competition in 2.6 is tough, but that is because we all gripe and complain so they keep allowing more and more so it has come to this. To me, 2.6 should be people that run a silver bullet size turbo to drive to work and take it out on the weekend to ripass with it. If it was me, 2.6 would be without hanging weights and blocked suspension because even if they make huge power, it wont be an advantage. Put the "street" back in it. Just my opinion.

That's where work stock comes in, most 2.6 trucks are not daily drivers anymore, I'm still gonna drive mine till I get something else for a dd but its way to much of a pain in the ass to get it back ready for the road 2 or 3 times a week

workstock is a stupid class to have most people with a badass truck that they drive on the weekends and would pull in a street class have aftermarket turbos the way the rules are now they get thrown in a class with 900-1000hp trucks. we might as well go back to the way things were in the 90's and run a single charger class and a twin class.

I was mainly thinking about trucks that wanted to be able to drive right off the street then pull, no weights axle stops etc... But yea I agree with ya it is kinda stupid, if someone don't wanna build there truck to pull and try and be competitive then no one is making them run 2.6

Which brings up the point.......Some people have a wide sence of "Street Driveable".....

Heck I used to drive a 12.5:1 compression motor with a 3.0 charger....Wasnt fun, but it was still my daily driver!

i disagree i feel like were making everyone who wants to pull there truck pull in the 2.6 class, because there is no other class for them stock charger or 1000hp leaves alot of people with no place to pull IMO. whats a damn good workstock truck make 500hp? theres a 500hp gap in the lowest 2 classes of diesel trucks which doesnt make any sense to me. i dont see any problem with the 600-700 jump from 3.0 to mod, but in whats supposed to be street classes The 2.6 class is getting out of control.
