i have never seen a written rule with that in it yet?

I wouldn't consider it a trans brake.
Plain and simple it does meet certain organizations rules. IMO it's a gray area and it says nothing in the rules against it, but then again it says nothing in the rules against having a hydraulic ram that will dig into the track at the end of the run to push you forward a few extra feet. But you don't see anyone doing it.
No offense to anybody, but y'all are b*****n so much that this dude don't have a prayer to make it through tech...
Scheid built truck equal's he will pass beens they tech the trucks.

Can't BBD be had for 100K or less???
That's where work stock comes in, most 2.6 trucks are not daily drivers anymore, I'm still gonna drive mine till I get something else for a dd but its way to much of a pain in the ass to get it back ready for the road 2 or 3 times a week
workstock is a stupid class to have most people with a badass truck that they drive on the weekends and would pull in a street class have aftermarket turbos the way the rules are now they get thrown in a class with 900-1000hp trucks. we might as well go back to the way things were in the 90's and run a single charger class and a twin class.
I was mainly thinking about trucks that wanted to be able to drive right off the street then pull, no weights axle stops etc... But yea I agree with ya it is kinda stupid, if someone don't wanna build there truck to pull and try and be competitive then no one is making them run 2.6
Better up that a good 100hp. I know of two that will be in 2.6 that have dynoed over 1000, both 12v. I look for a 12v to win it.
