Dt360 2008 f450

Well small update, got tired of driving it around with so little power and I ordered a set of OEM injectors for a 240hp DTA466. Installed them this morning and holy crap what a difference! It's no where near chipped 6.4l power, but it makes driving it a bit fun at least.

Also got the factory intercooler installed.

And had some wicked tacos from a taco truck.

Oh...and got a Carli 4.5" lift from BCC too:

Is your intercooler plumbed backwards too? Lol

Taco truck in Canada? Impossible.

Woa thats looking like a Ford engine compartment again

He must be from Reading, PA. LOL

Or new haven CT. I've never seen so many taco trucks:hehe:

And next time we'll need to see a picture of said taco dealer, the only person I can picture at the moment is Machete

Kind of a younger, less haggard, non moustached, healthier looking machete. :D

Are you worried about the 466 injector spray pattern?
I am also thinking the 466 injectors are the answer, I though a few of them were capable of 600 hp.
Cheap as heck too.

I got my truck coming soon, it's a 2008 ext cab 6.4 with a blown crank. Super excited, but it sucks that winter is almost here.
Hopefully I can get working on the dt360 and do a rebuild and some power goodies in the garage before installing it.

I'm thinking 466 injectors and ?some kind of bigger injection pump?

I'm too simple to be worried about things like spray patterns. They both had 4 holes and fit in the same hole....what could possibly go wrong???? lol

I might add an He351 to the mix and see how it does. Also have a P-pump coming.

Wow!!! You just up'd the game considerably with that Carli stuff. I want to see more pictures of that, and see how it makes that rig handle!

I like your style. Where did you order the p-pump from, and wheres the adapter plate coming from?
I read a few times it could be done, but dont have a list of needed parts and costs. Share?
I was going to run 2 stock pumps, but one shop said the vibrations would cause headaches and leaks for a daily driver.

A p-pump and adapter would be mint.
I was thinking of a he351ve on the motor ( the new dodge turbo with variable exhaust housing, and under the passenger floor, a remote detroit diesel series 60 s400 turbo.

If I ever get mine done, I think cruising the coast in 2 dt360 ford's has gotta happen lol. :tree:

Do the 466 injectors cause hazing or excessive smoke?

I just emailed Hypermax, It's about $1000 for the 3 parts you need to adapt a p-pump, and I got the p-pump from a friend for $500.

Quit making yours so complicated and just get it done then we can have a DT cruise lol.

No excessive smoke at all with the 466 injectors. ;)

AARRRGGHH lol.
If I woulda left the dt power stock, this coulda been a sub 5000$ truck lol.
The turbo's aren't complicated, the 2 pumps would have been. 1000$ for the adapter sounds like a lot, but really I guess it's the only way, and probably the cheapest in the long run.
1000$ for adapter kit,
2000$ for pump,
2000$ for turbochargers
I'm gonna spend more on go fast goodies than the truck and engine combined.
FML. *bdh*

I wonder if there are any variable housing turbochargers that would work better than a cummins unit, so I could only use 1 turbo. The cummins one is only good for 40 psi apparently.

Carson Stauffer diesel makes the adapter to a Ford transmission, the adapter plates for the p pump and lots of go fast goodies. Give him a call, he's very knowledgeable on DT performance.

Have you played with the timing at all? I know that'll really wake them up, you can run them up to 30 degrees and they'll take it. Especially with the new injectors.
