EFILive Beta First Impressions

Smoke Machine, you running an sftermarket cam?

Anybody figured out the highest usefull RPM with a stock CR cam yet?

By usefull I mean still making power, and not flat lineing or signing off.

I havent found a cam that makes power above 3800 on a cr yet.

Do you feel that it is truly the cam not being able to make the power,or possibly that programming hasnt allowed power to be made up there yet??

could be both and also the mechanical side of the truck, I dont have flycuts or a head that flows alot of air. Im planning on building a nice 6.7 motor for next pulling season that should answer my ? about these trucks and rpm's around 4500. I know the standalone trucks around me theres 2 of them arent even at 4000 yet while going down the track. Its hard to get power up there... def need alot of fuel, factory dual cp3's wont even keep up with the demand we can now put on the fuel system with efi live or a zues!

I might have to post to youtube or just friend me on fb...lol i have alot of videos and you can see the progress!

Call Harts diesel and try to talk to Parrick, gotta12v on here, about a cam. I am sure he could come up with a cam that could help the CRs make some power above 3800rpm.

Patrick.

Please take it elsewhere, unless you've got something that add regarding tuning with EFILive start your own thread and derail elsewhere.

Zach, Thurmon purchased through Rob, Rob has been racing in Canada this week, and Monte is with him. They should be back in the office next week.

Cheers
Cindy
Thanks Cindy, the real problem was the junk/spam mail from the customer(not on purpose) for months and the email was blocked. I never knew a tune was sent for modifiying. Never had a phone call either until a few days ago. Straightened out now.

Zach must of not read the previous posts, so didn't know who he had bought the tool from.

Thank you Rob, Cindy and Zach. I am willing to pay Rob for his hard work, not looking for a hand out ( freebee) I pay my way

Yep I missed it Rob... I'm sorry. Cindy straightened me out. Definitely wasn't trying to step on toes. Hope I didn't piss you off. Thought he might have got it from an online site or something so didn't have a tuner or that he maybe thought it came with tunes or whatever. I did send him just a super simple very small (mostly smoothed out about +40 HP) tune just so he had something to try as I know you've had problems getting his mail and have been super busy and racing and all that as well. Just wanted to make him happy while you get him hooked up with the good stuff!

Again - sorry if i crossed the line there. Wasn't trying for that and hopefully my original message showed that....

still fighting a snuffing problem at the end of the track but here's a couple rescent videos of the truck. thanks Danny
