Thanks. Yes, it's 6ft. It could use to be 6" longer to have some room to play with but, they didn't make one.

I might need to order the 6' cable as well the 5 is tight and I don't think I will be able to get the shifter up as high as I want to. I have mine coming off the trans and loping behind the starter and coming up through the firewall/floorboard. I think 6' would be just right

2013 Floor console

Here's some pics of the 2013 console; it's not the best installation (I'm not that good with finish-work), but without intense scrutiny it appears to be factory

because it 'felt good' when doing a mock-up (reminiscent of a 4-5 shift with the manual). I'm also a tiny ****er, so my 'angles' are way off relative to what most people's normal seated position is. My seat is a few clicks from full forward....

haha i under stand, Ive seen some trucks with the same angle as yours i might try mine with a little bit of an angle to see how it feels.

My 03, just switched from NV4500. I used the shifter boots to route the cable, and made the shifter tip up so it is close to me while retaining the ability to use my lower center console.

I think I'm going to steal your idea, and just make a patch for the hole in my floor console in my 04.5. Glad i found this thread.

Yea man it's very simple. Were the two clamps are I drilled two holes and used 3/8s bolts.

This is exactly how I want to do my 97! If someone was just interested in trading me a auto for a 5spd/DD. LOL
