Sarcasm?
If so, what kinds of pw drops did you see when you scoped a truck with vs one without the issue? Or timing?
If not, hop to it and stop dancing around the problem.
If for one second I thought I had a timing/pw issue I would have a scope on it within the hour. I have a dedicated connector on my engine harness now where I clip in a sub-harness specifically for the scope that runs through the firewall and to the middle seat. Sit the scope in the passenger's seat and a couple minutes later, the truth is known.
I try to keep simple things simple by not adding my own variables or beating around the bush. I've just been reading about this stuff with the CR guys for what seems like years now and am just totally shocked that after all this time it's still a freakin mystery, and nobody seems to be able to provide DATA to support any kind of explanation. That was why I suggested that a timing/pw gauge be made.
For instance, if I were Beaner, I would almost half to know what happened to timing/pw to gain 300ish hp. Not what the scanner said, but what really happened.
Somebody's gotta have a scope.
