Ive SEEN THE LIGHT!!! Ppump drag truck build

Well, we had a whoops...we were out testing the truck and luckily pulled in to check the tv cable before one more wot run. As we pulled in everyone yelled to shut it off because there was oil puking everywhere. Come to find it, the plug that holds the timing pin had backed out and wasted 11 out of the 12 quarts of my brand new rotella. Oh well, could have been a lot worse!!
On a good note, the truck is going to be a runner. Feels stronger than my dd when at half throttle with the pump only at 450cc.

:hehe: No big deal, my 95 had done that to me 3 times, and the bearings still looked like new.

That pump is a runner isn't it:evil

Did that to my truck too, cept it was a new-er motor and i was pissed it was leaking oil from somewhere!! then i found the plug on the ground! LOL

Yes chris, that pump is great. It will do whatever you ask of it even being turned all the way down. I can't wait to tune it and see what it will really do.

A 62/480 combo didn't touch all the fuel with it in the middle....If I remember right, RedStroke up in michigan did 1312 at TS a couple years ago with that same "size" pump, and some spray....

There's fire in the hole! These are still frames out of a video clip so the quality isn't great.

Better get on it......:stab:

Should be ok as long as the turbos come in next week...Chris at ED wanted to change the setup a little instead of box stock 471's so, hopefully that gets done in time. Might as well make first full throttle pass be on the strip lol.

They are down at Kilcare right now. Chase is coming up afterwards more testing tomorrow. Truck is NASTY fun drive.

Rain out at the track tonight, we took our daily drivers last night since the front axle wasn't engaging 4x4 due to a vacuum problem. Chase's DD ran 12.02@114 with a 1.9 60', my truck ran a 13.02@105 with stock injectors/cp3

We finished all the wastegate plumbing today with 20psi of regulated boost going to the bottom port and 60psi regulated boost to the top port, so we'll see what it does when the roads dry up. Also added a Valve cover Breather, bumped timing, slid the plate and played with the AFC. Its starting to come together but another day of tuning will help a lot.

We also pulled the honeycomb out of the grill...

I had a trans build and airdog install today, but did get some tuning in on the wastegate in between the rain. We got it to 63psi boost with drive right around 80psi, but we're ready for some track testing to see where we're at and how much bottle were going to have to feed it. Hoping for sunshine tomorrow afternoon.
