Let's talk S465

Cut the VBAND off the outlet of the turbo u still have plenty of room , I also spot welded some dibs to help hold it , you really just could use a 3" 90 that goes onto the factory dogleg part , I have one if u get a turbo we can fab up the stuff I have a few things left over

Here is what you need for the s400 compressor outlet to hook it up to the stock intercooler tube.

Cummins part #'s

3957380 turbo outlet elbow
3067979 v-band clamp

Glad I checked this thread. It's getting somewhere.

I'm like you, how do you get it to the intercooler. I've found a few places selling s400 comp. outlet flanges and v-bands. I have enough resources to fab one up but, it sure would be nice if one of the aftermarket guys would make a turbo to intercooler tube for 2nd and 3rd gens.

I'm now also wondering about downpipes? Will it will use a standard 5" s400 style flange too?

I just need to get one and start fabbing it up. Cam goes in in 2 weeks.

That elbow looks like a much shorter radius, than others I have seen. Have you used this on a second gen?

Used it on a 1st gen and it worked good. It is a shorter radius but I believe it will still line up about the same place as stock due to the s400 being that much larger in diameter.

any downpipe info?

Yeah does anybody have any info on an adapter for the downpipe?

Forced Inductions has the T3-T4 adapters but doesn't carry the compressor discharge elbow, or down pipe adapters.

I called Cummins Crosspoint in Nashville they wanted $38 for the elbow & $36 for the v-band clamp in case anybody was curious.

did you ask them about a charger i did and got some info

65/83inducer/76exducer

i have no idea what the heck they were talking about with those numbers does any body understand. and how much fuel would i have enought
stage 3 cp3 and 150injectors and smarty tnt-r
this would be on my truck its a play truck dyno, sled, drags thanks guys

65 is the inducer of the compressor
83 is the inducer of the exhaust(place where the air enters the wheel)
76 is the exducer of the exhaust(exits the wheel)

76 doesn't sound quite right, the s465 that people use on the truck really isn't available in box stock forms on something that will work on the cummins. The ones I have seen you have to mix and match parts to get it to work.

some oil lines, and the comp. outlet flange

and the turbine outlet flange to fab down pipe, comp. outlet flange to fab to intercooler, oil lines. Basically everything you'd need minus the welder and some tubing.

Tubing and elbows, I use these people b/c they have it all. Prices aren't always the best but between the three of them you can get what you need.

That would depend on which turbine housing it has and also if the flange has already been modified.
